The Speakers of GCC Shura, Representatives and National Councils took a number of decisions, including choosing title "Combating Terrorism and Terrorist Organizations" to be a GCC joint topic in 2016. The GCC speakers also approved action plan of the GCC Parliamentary Committee on enhancing relations with the European Parliaments in 2016 and, in terms of principles, cooperation with parliaments of the Latin American countries, stressing importance of activation of the GCC parliamentary information network.
