ABU DHABI, Safar 01, 1437, November 13, 2015, SPA -- The UAE has commended the Saudi-Egyptian Coordination Council, describing it as a positive step toward enhancing the joint Arab action. In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the leading role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, stressing that "the coordination council between Riyadh and Cairo represents a fundamental pillar of the Arab cooperation and advancement." It stressed that the UAE in its quest for the joint Arab action "sees the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt as a basis for this work." The statement noted that the Saudi- Egyptian Coordination Council establishes the required cooperation drive and momentum for the joint Arab action. "This Saudi and Egyptian leaders' vision embodies hope cherished by the Arab world to address the challenges and threats." It emphasized that the joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt "reflects common interest of the Arab states and peoples." The statement concluded that the Arab world becomes stronger in the light of the Saudi- Egyptian cooperation and coordination.
