Los Angeles, Muharram 22, 1437, Nov 4, 2015, SPA -- Police shot and killed a university student after he stabbed five people Wednesday morning at the University of California campus in the city of Merced, dpa quoted the university as saying. Two of the stabbing victims were transported to area hospitals by helicopter, while three were treated on-site, the university said in a press release. Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke told the local daily Merced Sun Star that the suspect was a male student in his 20s. No motive was given for the stabbings.
