Moroni, Rabi'II 04, 1437, January 14, 2016, SPA -- The United Comoros Republic announced cutting its diplomatic relations with Iran. The Ministry of External Relations and Cooperation in Charge of Diaspora, Francophonie, and Arab World said in a statement that due to Iran's non respect for Vienna Conventions organizing diplomatic and consular relations, and its interference in the internal affairs of some Arab countries, the Comorian government decided to cut off diplomatic relations with Iran and this decision is effective from the date of January 13, 2016 and appropriate measures must be taken to implement it as soon as possible.
