BEIJING, Rabi'II 5, 1437, Jan 15, 2016, SPA -- China on Friday said it supported "necessary" action against North Korea by the U.N. Security Council to preserve the authority of the United Nations in the face of Pyongyang's latest nuclear weapon test this month, Reuters reported. The North's nuclear test angered both China and the United States and again raised questions about what can be done to stop its development of nuclear weapons. The country is already under a wide array of international sanctions, and diplomats have said U.N. Security Council members were expected to discuss the possibility of adding to those.
