Islamabad/Kabul, Rabi'I 15, 1437, December 26, 2015, SPA -- About 70 people were reported injured Saturday after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake shook Afghanistan, Pakistan and parts of India, dpa reported. According to the US Geological Survey, the epicentre of the quake was 41 kilometers west southwest of Ashkasham, Afghanistan, in the Hindu Kush mountains at a depth of 203 kilometers. Ghulam Rasool, chief of Pakistan Meteorological Department, said the quake was felt in several districts including capital Islamabad. State-run Radio Pakistan reported at least 56 people injured in the north-western province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa near the Afghan border.
