VIENNA, Safar 24, 1437, December 06, 2015, SPA -- The Austrian chancellor's spokeswoman says a small group of European Union nations will meet ahead of a summit of the full EU this month to discuss greater cooperation with Turkey and protection for the bloc's external borders, AP reported. Spokeswoman Susanna Enk told the Austria Press Agency on Saturday that the meeting in Brussels ahead of the EU summit starting Dec. 17 is being organized by Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann. She said it will also involve Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Finland and Greece. APA reported that Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is expected from Turkey and Jean-Claude Juncker, the head of the EU's executive Commission, is also expected to take part. Several other EU countries have been reluctant to discuss sharing the burden of the refugee influx that has hit Europe. --SPA 01:01 LOCAL TIME 22:01 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
