Custodian of Two Holy Mosques chairs first meeting of King Fahd Charity council of trustees

Riyadh, Jumada I 15, 1437, February 24, 2016, SPA -- The Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired at Al-Yamamah palace in Riyadh today the first meeting of the council of trustees of King Fahd Charity. Addressing the meeting, the monarch expressed pleasure to preside over the meeting. He paid tribute to late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, describing him as personal friend, teacher and leader. He said he is proud of the achievements late King Fahd has provided for his religion, country and nation. He said King Fahd was very much concerned with the spread of education in his country, so this charity is also putting education as a priority in addition to other fields of philanthropy and humanity. For his part, Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Chairman of the council of trustees, thanked the King for chairing the meeting and his remarks.
