Yangon, Dhu-AlHijjah 26, 1436, Oct 10, 2015, SPA -- More unseasonal heavy rainfall is threatening some vulnerable areas in Myanmar including the Sagaing region that was badly hit by floods two months ago, dpa cited local media as saying Saturday. The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology said heavy rains are expected in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyawaddy regions, as well as in Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakine states over next few days, the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar reports. Three bridges in Sagaing region were destroyed Saturday morning due to heavy rain overnight, according to a report by Irrawaddy news magazine. At least 88 people have been killed in heavy rain and flooding across Myanmar since July. --SPA 10:45 LOCAL TIME 07:45 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
