At the outset of the meeting, Sheikh Al Thani offered condolence to the Emir of Kuwait on the victims of the terror act which took place at Imam Al-Sadeq mosque in Kuwait on Friday last, confirming the position of Qatar in support of Kuwait, including the measures that could be taken by the Kuwait authorities to safeguard the country’s security and stability.
