London, Dhu-AlQa'dah 14, 1436, August 29, 2015, SPA -- Crystal Palace defeated Chelsea 2-1 on Saturday to leave the Premier League champions eight points behind Manchester City, who beat Watford 2-0 to remain perfect. Bakary Sako and Joel Ward scored as Palace won at Stamford Bridge and left Chelsea with just four points after four games. Sako gave Palace the lead midway through the second half before Radamel Falcao headed Chelsea level with 12 minutes left. The home fans were still celebrating when Palace struck again two minutes later through Ward. The win moves Palace up to second place on nine points. Raheem Sterling and Fernandinho scored as Man City kept a 100 per cent record with a fourth straight clean sheet. Fernandinho then added a second as City set a club record with their 10th consecutive top-flight win. Manuel Lanzini, Mark Noble and Diafra Sakho scored as West Ham beat Liverpool 3-0 for their first win at Anfield since 1963. Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho and Nobel were sent off in the second half after receiving their second yellow cards. Salomon Rondon gave West Brom a 1-0 win over Stoke, who had Ibrahim Afellay and Charlie Adam sent off in the first half. Fabricio Coloccini's own goal gave Arsenal a 1-0 win over 10-man Newcastle United. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's shot deflected in off Coloccini to give Arsenal their eighth straight win over Newcastle, who had Aleksandar Mitrovic red-carded in the 16th minute. Jermaine Lens' goal gave winless Sunderland a 2-2 draw at Aston Villa, while Jamie Vardy's penalty in the 86th minute earned Leicester a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth. Tottenham are still winless following a goalless draw with Everton at White Hart Lane. It's the first time since the 2008-09 season Spurs have failed to win one of their first four games. Southampton host Norwich and Manchester United are away to Swansea on Sunday. --SPA 23:27 LOCAL TIME 20:27 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
