Torrential rain contributed to the unsafe driving conditions that caused the driver of an overloaded minibus to plunge into a pond with 24 kindergarten children and a teacher on board, Xinhua news agency reported. Two children died and 21 were injured, three seriously, in the Friday accident, which occurred near the city of Guiping in the Guangxi region.
