Moscow, Rajab 27, 1436, May 16, 2015, SPA -- A Russian rocket carrier with a Mexican satellite on board has crashed in Siberia, the Interfax news agency reported on Saturday, according to dpa. The Proton M rocket was lost after takeoff, but it was not immediately clear if there was any damage caused by the crash in the sparsely populated Chita area of southern Siberia where it came down, the report said. The rocket had taken off from the international space station in Baikonur in the central Asian republic of Kazakhstan. Recently a manoeuvre to deliver supplies to the International Space Station failed when the systems of a rocket did not work properly. --SPA 11:38 LOCAL TIME 08:38 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
