Kabul, Rabi'I 1, 1437, Dec 12, 2015, SPA -- At least 10 persons died in a Taliban suicide attack on a guest house near the Spanish embassy in the Afghan capital of Kabul overnight, police said on Saturday. Police spokesman Basir Mujahid said two Spaniards, four Afghans and all four attackers died in the attack, which lasted for nine hours. The Spanish Interior Ministry confirmed the death of two Spanish policemen belonging to a unit to protect the embassy grounds located in the upscale Sherpur district, dpa reported. According to official accounts there are around 20 Spanish police in Kabul helping to train the Afghan police force.
