Interior Ministry: Seizure of explosives and explosive belts lab in Riyadh

Riyadh, Dhu-AlHijjah 19, 1436, Oct 3, 2015, SPA -- A security spokesman of the Ministry of Interior announced that the security agencies have got information of great importance on an integrated lab inside a residential house in Al-Fayha'a district in Riyadh city for the manufacture of explosive materials and belts which were about to be used later in criminal operations. The lab was in the charge of the so-called / Yasser Mohammed Shafiq Al-Barazi - Syrian national - who arrived in the Kingdom in 2010. In the same house, the security agencies found that a Filipino citizenship woman was living illegally with Al-Barazi to help him in sewing and preparing the explosive belts, and in his absence she used to wear an explosive belt. The house as a whole was booby trapped by the perpetrator with severe explosive materials indifferent to the lives of innocent residents and visitors to the neighborhood.
