TUNIS, Dhu-AlHijjah 18, 1436, October 02, 2015, SPA -- The Tunisian president's office says it has lifted the state of emergency imposed after a terror attack this summer that killed scores of people, mostly foreign tourists. Friday's announcement carried by the state-run TAP news agency was expected. The state of emergency was imposed on July 4 after a June attack at a luxury beach resort in Sousse that killed 38 tourists, mainly Britons. President Beji Caid Essebsi extended it at the end of July for two more months until the end of September. --SPA 21:22 LOCAL TIME 18:22 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
