Riyadh, Muharram 15, 1437, Oct 28, 2015, SPA -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir explained that he discussed, during meetings with visiting British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond here today, possible and guaranteed means for concerned and allied countries over Syria, in their meetings set to be held on Thursday and Friday, to have conformity in vision, stance floor and close of ranks, in order to reach an ideal solution that would bring better future for Syria and to reach an understanding about what should these countries took, to achieve that goal. In his opening speech, during a joint press conference with the Hammond, at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry here today, he drew the attention that his meetings with Hammond dealt with several important issues, like the subject of Syria, which we emphasize the importance of finding a solution based on the principles of Geneva (1), as the basis for it, to establish a transitional council to run the affairs of the country, maintain civil and military institutions, to prepare Syria for a bright future that would contribute to the provision of adequate and healthy atmosphere for a new constitution for Syria, and to prepare it to conduct fair elections, pointing out that such a solution should has neither a place nor a presence of Bashar al-Assad. -- more 21:03 LOCAL TIME 18:03 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
