Beirut, Rabi I 04, 1437, December 15, 2015, SPA -- A number of Lebanese dignitaries have voiced support for the 35-member Islamic Military Alliance to fight terrorism. They call the announcement a historical step in the right direction to deal with a political, security and intellectual problem which is emerging as a dangerous burden on the profile of Islam, defaming its civilizational and humanitarian portrait and threats its well-being and co-existence with other world communities. They said the initiative, announced by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is much needed from long time ago to steadfast the phenomenon that tries to use the name of Islam but to destroy it. They are Lebanon's former Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri and the Future parliamentary bloc. --SPA 21:54 LOCAL TIME 18:54 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
