Riyadh, Dhu-AlHijjah 23, 1436, Oct 7, 2015, SPA -- President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen received today at the headquarters of the temporary residence in Riyadh Anne W. Patterson US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs and US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew H. Tueller and UK Ambassador to Yemen Vuitton Brown. During the meeting, President Hadi hailed US and UK's efforts in support of Yemen's legitimacy and hard work to achieve peace based on the international legitimacy resolutions and the creation of operational mechanism of international resolutions, in particular resolution 2216. They also reviewed the field conditions in Yemen because of the continued militia coup, in its aggression on the various parts of the country. The Yemeni President also referred to the instructions issued by him today on opening all Yemeni ports to imports of oil derivatives and humanitarian and relief aid and medicine to break the siege imposed by the coup leaders, "the Houthis and ousted Saleh" against the Yemeni people.
