Saudi Clinics’ Psychological Support Unit Programs Treat 158 Patients from Al-Zaatari Syrian Refugees Camp

Amman, Shawwal 25, 1436, Aug 10, 2015, SPA -- As many as 158 Syrian refugees have benefited from the psychological and social services provided by Psychological Support Unit of Specialized Clinics of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Al-Zaatari Syrian Refugees Camp during last July within the program of "My Brother, We Care about You" which is being implemented by the Saudi National campaign for Supporting Brothers in Syria. The Medical Director of Saudi Specialized Clinics, Dr. Mohammed Ismail explained that the Psychological Support Unit significantly takes into account the dramatically psychiatric conditions and behavioral fluctuations of refugees brothers, pointing to the use of scientific and technical ways to reduce the effects of fear, panic and depression that affect them. For his part, the Regional Director of Saudi National Campaign for Supporting Brothers in Syria, Dr. Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Samhan said that the Campaign is keen on taking into consideration the psychological and behavioral aspects of the Syrian brothers by providing them with an advanced program-based psychological care. --SPA 13:19 LOCAL TIME 10:19 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
