Seoul, Ramadan 9, 1436, Jun 26, 2015, SPA -- Middle East Respiratory Syndrome has killed two more people in South Korea, bringing the death toll to 31, the authorities said Friday. The deceased were women aged 79 and 80 and had serious existing health problems including cancer and diabetes, dpa quoted the Ministry of Health and Welfare as saying. Sixty-nine of the 181 confirmed MERS cases remain in hospital, 81 have been released and 31 have died. Thirteen of those still in hospital are in critical condition. The newest patient was a doctor in Seoul who had treated MERS patients.
