The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered the following speech: Allah's peace, mercy and blessings be upon you. I welcome you in your country, the country of Muslims. The Kingdom Saudi Arabia considers its major responsibility is to maintain the house of Allah and the city of the Messenger of Allah, and to maintain the security of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors, and this is what is happening now. This is from the date of the first and second Saudi state and this state founded by late King Abdulaziz, and after him his sons and recently the late King Abdullah Allah, who have been very keen on the holy country's security and the comfort of pilgrims, visitors and Umrah performers. Your country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enjoys security and prosperity as a result of the application of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, and you also know that the Constitution of the Kingdom is the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger. This state was established on the basis of the Islamic foundation, as you know, the first, the second and the third state, namely Mohammed bin Saud in the first state, Turki bin Abdullah in the second state, and Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman in the third state, and his sons after him Saud, Faisal, Khalid, Fahd and Abdullah. Thank Allah, we, the sons of King Abdul Aziz, were named as custodians of the Two Holy Mosques. This is a source of pride for us and we ask Allah Almighty to guide us all for the service of our tolerant religion away from intolerance and extremism that offends Islam, which is the religion of moderation, as you know, and we have to follow what is stated in the book of Allah and what came in the Sunnah of His Messenger, peace be upon him and his wise successors. Facilitate not alienate. There are people who repel people away from Islam and those abuse Islam. We beseech Allah Almighty to guide them to their senses. In fact, a conference such as this conference of yours will benefit Muslims, Allah willing. Your country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the country of Islam, is your country all the time. Thank Allah, it is with moderate Islam, Islam which follows the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger and his wise successors. We ask for success to you from Allah Almighty. I repeat, I welcome you to your country and the Qibla (direction for prayers) of the Islamic world, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and I tell you frankly that Makkah and Madinah are the most important for us before anything in this country.
