Riyadh, Jumada II 25, 1436, Apr 14, 2015, SPA -- Members of Saudi-Azerbaijani Parliamentary Friendship Committee of Majlis Al-Shura, headed by its member and Chairman of the Committee, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Nasser held here yesterday a meeting with a delegation from the Azerbaijani-Saudi Friendship Group of the National Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, headed by its Member Fattah Heydarov, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the beginning of the meeting, Abdullah Al-Nasser welcomed the Azerbaijani delegation and praised the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which are of great interest for the two leaderships in the two countries. For his part, the Chairman of Azerbaijani-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Azerbaijani National Council Fattah Heydarov delivered a speech during which he extended thanks and appreciation to the warm hospitality and honor attached to him and the accompanying delegation since his arrival in the Kingdom, pointing to the depth of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was one of the first countries that recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan 24 years ago, and defended its causes.
