Paris, Rajab 19, 1436, May 8, 2015, SPA -- Thousands of people poured into the streets of Paris and onto the boulevard Champs-Elysee 70 years ago to celebrate the Nazi surrender that brought an end to World War II, dpa reported. Today, the Champs-Elysee is once again host to observers commemorating the victory, while also paying tribute to the enormous loss of life that the war cost.
