Makkah, Sha'ban 20, 1436, Jun 7, 2015, SPA -- Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah region and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee chaired here today the monthly meeting of the Central Hajj Committee. During the meeting, he reviewed the topics on the Committee's agenda presented by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj for Umrah Affairs Dr. Isa bin Mohammed Rawas. Dr. Rawas presented a report on the situation of Umrah season and the number of arrivals, indicating that the number of visas issued amounted to about 5.4 million, and the number of Umrah performers exceeded 4.9 million of whom 3.2 million arrived through based-Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport and 1.023 million through based-Madinah Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, while the rest of the Umrah performers arrived through other different ports. --More 15:08 LOCAL TIME 12:08 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
