Almoalimi said that Palestine's accession to the International Criminal Court, in addition to being a natural right, is an important step towards holding accountable those responsible for the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and other crimes against the Palestinians. Almoalimi detailed Israeli continued violations of international law reiterating call for all states to reaffirm their commitment to supporting justice and international legitimacy through the full recognition of the State of Palestine on the borders of the 4th of June 1967 with Alquds as its capital. He added that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation stresses the need to end the Israeli occupation of Arab territories, including the occupied Syrian Arab Golan and the Lebanese territory. Almoalimi noted Israel's continued intransigence against the Palestinian people and the serious threat of terrorist acts carried out by the Israeli terrorist settlers against the Palestinian people under the Israeli occupation. He condemned in the strongest terms the attacks on Islamic and Christian holy places in the Palestinian occupied territories. --More 01:34 LOCAL TIME 22:34 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
