Riyadh, Rabi'II 19, 1436, February 08, 2015, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah Palace here today United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and his accompanying delegation. At the outset of the reception, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed the United Nations Secretary General and his accompanying delegation in the Kingdom. For his part, Mr. Ban Ki-moon expressed his pleasure to visit the Kingdom and meet with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Mr. Ban Ki-moon expressed his deep condolences on the death of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on his accession to the throne in the Kingdom. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked the United Nations Secretary General for his feelings towards the nation's loss of the late King, and his congratulations to him on his accession to the throne. During the meeting, they reviewed overall events at regional and international arenas and the efforts of the United Nations towards them.
