Paris, Dhu-AlHijjah 08, 1435, October 02, 2014, SPA -- At least five people, all Swiss nationals, were killed in a helicopter crash in eastern France early on Thursday, local media reported, according to dpa. The helicopter, which was carrying seven passengers, went down in a garden outside the French town of Montbeliard, about 13 kilometres from the Swiss border, the local L'Est Republicain newspaper reported. Rescue workers were still trying to free a passenger trapped in the wreckage, the newspaper reporting citing local authorities. It was unclear whether the passenger had survived the crash. A seventh person was rushed to a local hospital with multiple injuries. The civilian helicopter was travelling from the Swiss city of Lausanne to Montbeliard-Courcelles airfield.
