Islamabad, Dhu-AlHijjah 10, 1435, Oct 4, 2014, SPA -- At least six people were killed and more than a dozen injured Saturday when a blast hit a passenger van in Pakistan's north-western province of Khyber-Pakhtunkwha, police said. According to dpa, the vehicle was targeted at a bus stop in the Peshawar Chowk area of Kohat, about 50 kilometers south-west of the provincial capital Peshawar. City police chief Salim Khan Marwat said the bomb was planted on the roadside. "Six people have been killed and 13 injured in the attack," he said. Nobody took responsibility for the attack but the Taliban often targets civilians and security forces in the region. --SPA 23:26 LOCAL TIME 20:26 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
