Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has met during the visit with a number of Argentine ministers and officials including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hector Marcos Timerman; Minister of Tourism Carlos Enrique Meyer; Minister of Health, Dr. Juan Luis Manzur and Mayor of the City of Buenos. The Prince also has visited tourist sites, historical landmarks and architectural heritage in the capital of Buenos Aires, including the National Museum, in addition to King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center affiliated to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance in the Kingdom. During a meeting with the Minister of Tourism of Argentina, they stressed the necessity of activating cooperation between the two countries in order to take advantage of the expertise in the development of tourism and heritage sites. Prince Sultan bin Salman stressed the keenness of the leaderships of both countries to enhance relations through the signing of several bilateral cooperation agreements in various fields, in addition to official visits exchanged between them at the highest levels, pointing in this regard to the visit paid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Argentina in 2000.
