Dresden, Germany, Shawwal 26, 1435, Aug 22, 2014, SPA -- A police officer went on trial in Germany Friday, accused of murdering and chopping up a businessman he met on a web forum for cannibalism fetishists, dpa reported. Detlef G, whose surname has been withheld under media privacy guidelines in Germany, allegedly killed and dismembered his 59-year-old Polish-born victim at a small bed-and-breakfast hotel which the policeman ran in his spare time. The two strangers allegedly agreed to meet to live out mirror-image fantasies: one dreamed of being killed and eaten and the other dreamed of being a cannibal. The victim was first strangled with a rope from the ceiling, then chopped up into small pieces, prosecutors say. The parts were buried in the hotel garden in eastern Germany's Erz mountains.
