UNITED NATIONS, Jumada II 21, 1436, Apr 10, 2015, SPA -- The United Nations said up to 400 people attacked a U.N. peacekeeping camp in Central African Republic on Friday morning, critically injuring several soldiers. It said one assailant died and several others were injured. According to AP, the attack was the second this week against the peacekeeping camp in the northern city of Kaga-Bandoro where the U.N. mission said "relations with the population have always been positive." The U.N. noted that this is a period of seasonal migration marked by communal tensions in the area, about 385 kilometers (240 miles) from the capital Bangui, but it did not say what sparked the protest. The peacekeeping mission, known as MINUSCA, said a mob of 300 to 400 people attempted to break through the barrier of the camp's entrance by setting it on fire. --SPA 21:48 LOCAL TIME 18:48 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
