Kingston, Jumada II 20, 1436, April 9, 2015, SPA -- President Barack Obama said Thursday he soon will decide whether to remove Cuba from the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism now that the State Department has completed a review on the question as part of the move to restore diplomatic relations with the Caribbean country. Obama said in Kingston, Jamaica that while the department had finished its review of Cuba and the terror list, he had not received a recommendation yet from his advisors. The U.S. president’s comments came as he opened a three-day trip to the Caribbean and Central America, where he is expected to attend a regional summit along with Cuban President Raul Castro.
