LOS ANGELES, Rabi'II 30, 1436, February 19, 2015, SPA -- A blast and blaze at Exxon Mobil’s Torrance, California, refinery Wednesday dropped ash on nearby cars, broke windows of nearby buildings, and injured three workers. The workers only suffered minor injuries in the explosion and fire, and were treated at the scene, fire officials said. The explosion occurred near a fluid catalytic cracking unit of the refinery.
