Islamabad, Dhu Al-Qa'dah 16, 1435, Sep 11, 2014, SPA -- Flooding in Pakistan might affect more than 5 million people, as the government ordered an initial assessment of losses and international help started flowing in, dpa cited an official as saying Thursday Mudslides and flooding have killed around 270 people in the central province of Punjab, the National Disaster Management Authority said. Flooding had already displaced around 2 million people from Punjab and the southern province of Sindh, said Ahmed Kamal, the authority's spokesman.
