Manila, Shawwal 1, 1435, Jul 28, 2014, SPA -- Twenty-one people were killed Monday in an attack by suspected militants in the southern Philippines, authorities said. Eleven people including two children aged 3 and 9 were also injured in the attack on Jolo island, 1,000 kilometers south of Manila, dpa quoted a police report as saying. The dead included five children, said Captain Maria Rowena Muyuela, a regional military spokeswoman.
