In a televised speech on the occasion of the last ten days of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, the Emir condemned the "continued brutal Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, leading to the fall of victims and casualties from our Palestinian brothers". The Emir regretted that the Israeli aggression continued while the UN Security Council (UNSC) failed to take action.
