Sana'a, Ramadan 12, 1435, Jul 9, 2014, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani has expressed the Council's condemnation of Houthi group's aggression against Imran province north of the Yemeni capital and not committing to agreements calling for a truce and a cease-fire. In a telephone conversation made today with Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Dr. Al-Zayani confirmed that aggression of Houthis group represents a drastic deviant from the outputs of the Yemeni Dialogue Conference. He called on Houthi group to abide by the Yemeni unanimous approval represented by the outputs of national dialogue conference and overcoming all the challenges in order to ensure security, stability and integrity of Yemen. The GCC Secretary General also stressed the need that the Houthis group should return to Yemeni Saada province, their "main stronghold" and to avoid the challenge and arrogance as an unacceptable act denounced by Yemen and the international community. --SPA 20:02 LOCAL TIME 17:02 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
