Seoul, Ramadan 12, 1435, July 09, 2014, SPA -- North Korea's military fired two short-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea early Wednesday, the first in 20 years to be launched from a site inland, Yonhap News Agency reported, according to dpa. The two missiles, "presumed to be Scud-type," landed in international waters after travelling some 500 kilometres, according to the Joint Chiefs of Staff in South Korea, quoted by Yonhap. It is the latest in a series of launches in recent months.
