Al-Assaf said the bank has over the last 39 years approved a sizable number of operations worth $100 billion, estimating the annual operations of the bank over the last two years at $10 billion each. He highlighted the bank's financial institutions which, he said, work together for a concerted goal of supporting the member countries. He cited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's project of Sacrifice meat which is personally sponsored by Dr. Ali to distribute meat slaughtered by pilgrims every year over the needy in Islamic countries.
