PESHAWAR, Ramadan 22, 1435, Jul 19, 2014, SPA -- A U.S. drone fired two missiles at a compound in a northwestern tribal region bordering Afghanistan on Saturday, killing eight militants, two Pakistani intelligence officials said. According to AP, the officials said the strike happened in Datta Khel, a town in North Waziristan, where the Pakistani military has been carrying out a major offensive against militants since last month. They said the identity and nationality of those killed was not immediately known and agents were trying to get details.
