New York, Ramadan 11, 1435, Jul 8, 2014, SPA -- UN envoy to Yemen Jamal Benomar expressed Tuesday his deep concern over the violence in Amran and other northern areas, and regretted over the deaths and injuries following the escalation of violence in the past few days in the province. The UN envoy affirmed his support to efforts of President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi, and stressed the need for all parties to end the tensions through a political process and resort to negotiations based on the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) to peacefully resolve differences.
