United Nations, Dhu-AlQa'dah 8, 1435, Sep 3, 2014, SPA -- The U.N. refugee agency Wednesday said that thousands are escaping Boko Haram fighting in Nigeria to flee to Cameroon. U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) spokeswoman Helene Caux said that the group is trying to hold territory by attacking villages inside Cameroon and killing three people. Caux said that more than 10,000 Nigerians, mainly from the city of Bama, have fled to Cameroon and Niger.
