Jeddah, Shawwal 23, 1435, August 19, 2014, SPA -- The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) of Muslim World League has commended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his directive to provide one million dollars as an additional funding to support humanitarian operations in the West Bank. The Organization's Secretary General Ihsan bin Saleh Tayyib said in a press statement that this support comes as an extension of the intensified aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Palestinian people at different levels and areas, noting in this regard the Kingdom's allocations of SR 100 million for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, SR 200 million for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, and its readiness to provide 500 million dollars to contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza. --SPA 12:59 LOCAL TIME 09:59 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
