Beijing, Rajab 23, 1435, May 22, 2014, SPA -- Thirty-one people were killed and 94 injured in an attack in China's north-western province of Xinjiang Thursday that authorities blamed on terrorists, dpa reported. Two vehicles drove into the crowd at a central market of provincial capital Urumqi at 7:50 am (2350 Wednesday GMT) and explosives were thrown out of them, state news agency Xinhua reported, citing witnesses. One vehicle then exploded.
