Moscow, Rajab 23, 1435, May 22, 2014, SPA -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov received a telephone call today from Egypt's Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi. In a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry said the two sides discussed the situation in Syria and Libya and the efforts aiming to find a settlement to the Palestinian Israeli dispute, noting that Fahmi briefed the Russian counterpart on the position of Egypt towards the situation in Libya in view of the wide-scale armed skirmishes taking place there.
