Kuwait, Shawwal 4, 1435, Jul 31, 2014, SPA -- Deputy Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Anwar Al-Hasawi Thursday asserted that the society is constantly distributing relief aid to Palestinians in the beleaguered Gaza Strip, which has been suffering severely from shortage of medical equipments and food due to the three-week Israeli aggression on the strip. In a press statement issued Thursday, Al-Hasawi said that the society, in cooperation with humanitarian organizations in the strip, managed to distribute the third batch of food and blankets in Rafah and Gaza. Also some simple gifts have been distributed to children, who are being treated in hospitals in the strip on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, he added. Al-Hasawi lauded the role of humanitarian organizations which cooperated with the KRCS to deliver all food, required medical equipments and energy to the needy people in the strip. He added that the support aims to tackle hiking humanitarian crisis in the strip due to the Israeli aggression, which destroyed completely homes, turning them into heaps of rubble and twisted metal.
