Beirut, Sha'ban 26, 1435, Jun 24, 2014, SPA -- The National Campaign to Support Brothers in Syria continued, through its office in Lebanon, today its project of paying rent for the displaced Syrians living on Lebanese territory in its eight leg in the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Campaign's Office Director in Lebanon, Walid Al-Jalal said that 85 checks have been distributed to 85 displaced Syrian families in city of Tripoli at a total cost of $ 69,000. He further said, "The campaign is continuing its works to complete the distribution of aid, pointing out that the campaign will have two other stations in Akkar and Baalbek regions." Al-Jalal added that the campaign is preparing for the phase of distribution of breakfast meals for fasting people, which will include 100,000 meals throughout the holy month of Ramadan with 150 tons of dates presented as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the displaced Syrians in Lebanon. --SPA 14:46 LOCAL TIME 11:46 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
