Islamabad, Sha'ban 17, 1435, Jun 15, 2014, SPA -- Airstrikes by Pakistani fighter jets Sunday killed an Uzbek militant commander who allegedly orchestrated a brazen attack at the country's busiest airport on June 8, dpa quoted officials as saying. Abu Abdur Rehman Al-Maani was among 50 militants who were killed when aircraft pounded mud-houses used by the militant movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), a group whose fighters attacked the airport. Security officials said they had confirmed that Al-Maani was killed in the overnight strikes. --SPA 15:10 LOCAL TIME 12:10 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
