Mogadishu, Sha'ban 23, 1435, June 21, 2014, SPA -- A 27-year-old Somali journalist was killed Saturday by a car bomb in Mogadishu, dpa reported. Yusuf Ahmed Abukar, an award-winning journalist, was driving through the capital's Hamarweyne district on his way to work, when the bomb went off. "It is a very shocking tragedy. His car was damaged badly by the explosion and his body blown into pieces," journalist Abdifatah Halane told dpa.
